Carol Dow notes that Tommy Hoddinott's name was changed to Tommy Arnott when at Coranderrk. Sue Wesson also notes this name change. Whilst Hagenauer refers to Arnott here in the 1880s, it would seem that Howitt continued identifying Tommy as Hoddinott, as evidenced by his naming of Hoddinott in the list of Gunaikurnai who attended the 1884 Jeraeil.
