Summary The notes - dated November 29th [no year] - are a key/legend to a map traced by H. Aldridge and sent to A.W. Howitt of twenty-three numbered localities with corresponding Aboriginal place names in the Maryborough region of Queensland. Aldridge appears to refer to this map in an earlier letter to Howitt dated November 7th 1882: 'I will get a tracing of the district & mark the rivers & names on it' [XM 1].
Physical Description Notes or letter, handwritten, partially dated. One sheet, three pages and a hand-traced map (one sheet). Notes include a list - a key/legend for the map. Condition: both notes and map have pin-holes and are creased from folds; foxing in a number of places on the notes.
