Letter includes a table detailing the relationships, totems, and classes for a local man Kurgita. Cultural group name not specified. A.W. Howitt appears to have added a comment to the top of the table - 'Please to mark those which are the totem names of people thus 'x' - and returned the lists to Muirhead who has marked the lists, and returned them to Howitt. Further, Howitt appears to have annotated the reverse of the letter, dividing totems into four classes.

Letter and a table, handwritten in ink. Letter consists of one sheet, one page and table consists of three sheets, three pages. Annotations throughout. Table of totems, class and sub-class names. Condition: good.
