My Dear Father

I have made up the
area of the part of Victoria
you required and find
it to be 26,837 square miles.
I took it up to the present
disputed boundary which
is 2 miles west of the 141 parallel.
I hope you got the fowls all
right. I forgot to send them
on Tuesday so they were
a day later than we had
originally agreed.

Everything is going on much
as usual here. Gillie went
out shooting as far as the Tambo
yesterday but was not successful
in getting anything but wet feet.

Your affectnt son
Charlton
