Summary Plan of Jeraeil; a ceremonial, initiation ground. Location not identified. The handwritten text is difficult to read. 'McLennans Strait' is however observable. This is where A.W. Howitt documented the Jeraeil ceremony which took place in 1884. Although the map itself is undated a date range of 1884 to 1908 has been attributed. The ceremony took place in 1884 and Alfred Howitt passed away in 1908.
Physical Description Map, hand-drawn, undated. One foolscap sheet. Eight numbered features but no key/legend. Condition: light staining and marking.
