"Content relates to groups around Cooktown region and the Mitchell River area. Discusses the impact of settlement on local groups and conflicts still occurring. Mentions the employment of Aboriginal people clearing scrub for Bloomfield Sugar Company; working in the Fishermen camps and that Brooke had arranged for some Aboriginal people to work in the ""Beche de mer"" trade on a fixed agreement."
