At last meeting of Linnean
Soc. of NSW, Mr J H Maiden handed
me your series of questions as to
social organisation of Kamilaroi tribe.
I have made enquiries from the
only men I know whom I thought
capable of understanding + writing on
the subject - but without result.
However I would make a suggestion to
you. I can have it printed in its
entirety in a locally published journal
"Science of Man" - the organ of the Anthrop
Soc of Aust, with an introductory note
requesting that all communications on
the matter be addressed to you in Victoria
