My dear Mr Howitt
I am glad to hear my
paper pleased you; and if
I can be of any further use to
you I shall always deem
it an honor. If you will
be good enough always to
explain all you wish I shall
try my best to do
I have always had dealings
with this poor misled
nation (people), and they
have my sympathy as well
as interest. Their folklore
has ever been to me a field
of wonder.

Their language to me does
not seem to be too pure
