When there were [w - crossed out] many hole [that they could] pointing in different
directions they said “there were many people against him”
Then the Wiriarap went at night to the grave and sate there
and watched. He would see the “Murup” of the blackfellow
who had killed the man come sneaking up and
look at the grave. The Wirarap would carefully
keep himself quiet so as to see the face. Then
he would know who the man was and tell the
relations of the dead person. —
