The councils of old men
Sometimes an old man would say to the
other old man “Come after breakfast
and we will talk”. He would take a
fire stick, light a fire at a distance from
the camp (perhaps 300 yds) and the other
old men would join him. It might be
that they would ask some young men
having knowledge to join them. Here
they would talk about affairs.
