Baukan [and Būlūmdūt - crossed out] then threw up
some Kangaroo sinew at the end of a spear
and when it stuck in the sky (nūrt) she
pulled at it but it broke; then she tried
Emu sinew and that broke; then Black Wallaby
sinew and it broke; at last she tried
Red Wallaby sinew. That held fast so she
and Baukan left the earth and climbed
up to the sky.
