Set fight
In fights people used to send Lewin.
At Nibbor I had to stand out to a lot
of men about running away with a woman.
They sent one Lewin to Bairnsdale and
I went to Nibbor. Bŭnha and the old men then said
what they were to do about throwing
boomerangs and spears at me, [and - crossed out]
[Bunha stopped the fight - crossed out]
[At this place (Lake Tyers) - crossed out] I [have- crossed out] had
to stand out to a lot of men (described
here a row of men about two chains long)
who were throwing boomerangs at me which I had
to stop with my shield and dodge as well as I could.
Dally ran between and stopped this.
He said that I had already fought with him and that
it was enough.

Expiatory Ceremony
I remember when a little boy that when the
Wira came (Aurora Australis) the people
were very frightened and used to swap
wives to keep themselves from being
burned up. Some of the women did not
like this because there were too many men
for them. The fathers and own brothers were
not permitted to exercise this as to their daughters
and own sisters.

Constellations
The southern cross is called
Bŭnbra. King Tom was called after this,
Old Lanky (Bŭnbra) never was so skilful
as his brother but he could fight well. He
is too old now to fight and is not much listened
to by the others.
