I hope my long
letters do not
fatigue you.
Believe me
Yours very sincerely
A W Howitt

Bairnsdale
April 5 1876

My dear Mr Fison
The date of your letter reproaches me
for delay. I now send you two
documents which might have
been of very great interest and
importance but alas are not.
That of Mr Giles and that of Mr Little
from Charlotte Waters and Port Darwin
respectively. There are grains of wheat
however which you will pick out
but the genealogical tables yield nothing
but "tantalization" [??]
how interesting would be the
information if only there! I have
written a long letter to Mr Little.
I use every endeavour to entangle
correspondents - and have
tried to work up some West Australian
