the Kamilaroi classes in which he did
not get the best of it. I shall be curious to
see his book - if it is the logical [underlined] outcome
of his circulars, elaborated by his Roman
Catholic mind in an Ellern Cut straight jacket
it will be worth seeing. However we shall
see what his conclusions are when he
publishes.

I have very little new in the Ethnological
line to report. My correspondents have
been very silent of late. I fear I shall
have to galvanise them. For the
result of such galvanism - see
the concluding paragraph of the
"Coongerdootchie" precis I send
herewith. I have written Mr Hughes
a letter which may yet put the
"come hither" on him.

As soon as I see the time has
arrived I shall move in the
"run of the post office" business.

Yours faithfully
AW Howitt

P.S. I was told the other day that there are two
"Robertsons" publishers who hate each other
like poison. I wonder if these are the English
& Australian "Georges"?
