Politician and pastoralist who lived in the Port Phillip District and colony of Victoria, before moving to the colony of Queensland in the 1860s. He was killed by Gayiri people in a reprise attack for the abduction of 2 Aboriginal boys. Gayiri people in turn were attacked and killed in reprisal.
