Bega Charley

Bega Charley was an initiated Yuin man who attended the Kuringal held on Yuin country in 1883. He provided Howitt samples of language and other cultural information. As with many of the Yuin people, Bega Charley fished and, along with some other Yuin men, was granted possession of a boat from the colonial NSW government in 1879.
