A Dja Dja Wurrung man who moved to Coranderrk in the 1860s. Dunolly wrote many of the petitions and letters for the residents of Coranderrk, acting as one of Barak's spokespeople. This was both because he could read and write, but also a recognition of his responsibilities and position within the Dja Dja Wurrung and Coranderrk communities. He continued to advocate for his rights through the legislative and policy changes that occurred during the later nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
