These definitions are not right but may
serve to illustrate my meaning. I
have found that an "interpretation
clause" saves much trouble.

I hope to find that you approve
of my plan of work - namely
to insert my evidence and
illustrations in smaller type
in the body of the letter press. Tell
me if you approve of marginal notes.

I have been thinking that if we
could give some diagrams
typical of the Malayan-Turanian
and Pairing family we might
then give other Australian systems
as diagrams. For instance I give
overleaf illustrations of what I mean.

I hope that you will not find my
letter long winded and playsome
but I try to make up for the want
of the half hours chat.
