My dear Mr Fison
Your two notes of Sep 22 and Oct 2
respectively to hand.
I am rather puzzled about "Geo Robertson
England." These are the facts at present.
The [gent - crossed out] manager of Geo Robertson Melbourne is a
person in Warwick Square London - (whose
name at the moment I cannot remember
and I have not the letter at hand to refer to.)
This London manager must for some time
have been in communication with my
Brother in law Mr Watts on the subject of
K & K; I found it best to leave to him the
final determination as to whether McMillan
or Sonnenschein should sell for us, and also
generally to arrange as to Review copies +c.
This has been done and I have sent your
list of names and a lot of circulars to
him in order that the latter may be sent
to the former with the London Publishers address [underlined].
Robertson's manager here advised me that it
was best only to announce K & K just as it
was about coming out otherwise people were
apt to forget books if announcement too soon.
