Kenric Harold Bennett

Bennett was known as a collector of indigenous grasses. He lived at Booligal in NSW, on the Lachlan River. Bennett was the person who introduced Howitt to one of his most prolific correspondents, ALP Cameron. Bennett sent a collection of artefacts to the Australian Museum in Sydney, the collection being published as a descriptive list in 1887 by the museum. Bennett was also a regular contributor to newspapers on flora and fauna.
