My dear Mr Howitt
I am very sorry I
was unable to send in
the papers before. They
are certainly truly a pleasure
as I am very interested
+ it is lovely to have you
go to all the trouble you do
to explain things.

I have not attepted the
essay as I have been ill
and the Dr has ordered
me away for a rest.

I am shortly going on to the
Narran and will be joining
a good camp of Darkies
& I may possibly find
out about the marriage line
