Bushy Park

Station on Gunaikurnai Country where Angus McMillan lived. Eugene von Guerard painted a panoramic view of the station in the 1860s and it has more recently been heritage listed. It was from this site that, as historians Don Watson and Peter Gardner note, McMillan set out on numerous massacres of Gunaikurnai people. It was also noted as a site Gunaikurnai people met at, with some consideration being given to excising the land to form a mission there. However, this was opposed.
